This was a challenging but rewarding project working with Tippett Studio. I was responsible for all paint and lookdev work as this was a small senior crew so many disciplines only had one representative handling all tasks. We received some assets from Weta Digital but these would still need to be lookdeved and adjusted to work for Tippett's pipeline in the shot context they were needed, so in one way or another I worked on all the assets and some environment work. This included 3 hero digital doubles of the main characters Walker, Bucky and Falcon, including the Falcon wings and backpack. There was a C130 plane and Falcon's drone together with some smaller props. Some sequences also required CG set extensions and the majority of the Sokovia environment with the statue is full CG. Captain America's shield is also CG in many shots including the variable blood.
I learnt a lot on this project, as in such a small crew doing a large shot count every individual's contribution matters more, and it was a great way to learn about other disciplines like lighting and comp as I worked so closely with the senior members of these teams.
