Truly Hard Seltzer - Chimp

Working with Untold Studios I was tasked with textures, lookdev and groom lookdev for a photorealistic chimpanzee that has to interact with humans in a drinks commercial for Truly Hard Seltzer. This was a short turnaround project and a lot of fun. We went into great detail on the chimp to make sure it would hold up against live action actors. Software used include Mari for textures, ZBrush and Maya for model, with lookdev done in Houdini and Arnold, working in a small team to deliver three animated characters. This is part of a series of commercials including an Iguana and a Dolphin which were built by other artists.
