This was a project where I worked as Lead Assets Artist at ILM Singapore and lead a small team of two artists to cover all the asset and a big part of the environment requirements needed for the show. There were various environment extensions we were involved in throughout the project with the main one being to extend a set to make it look like the inside of an oil tanker, and have various parts of the set be able to be destroyed as characters interact with them. There was also damage work on the Ultron robot as we had a very late request to make the asset into a heavily beaten up version, and I was able to do iterations within hours using ILM's proprietary shot based model corrective system to save the need to go all the way back through the pipeline.
This project wasn't as large in scope as many of the other projects I worked on at ILM but we did a lot with a small team, and many of the shots you would never know used CG unless pointed out.
Ultron needed a full damage variant very late in the project so this was something I handled with shot based shape work on the model to save the need to have to go back through the whole pipeline, and a damage texture variant by Joana Garrido.
The set was heavily extended with CG environment to turn the location of Print Works in London into the inside of an oil tanker needed for the movie. Everything above the level the actors are standing on was adjusted and extended with damage variants too.
